Breakthrough for photography at the Autumn Contemporary Sale
Richard Avedon’s photography sold for SEK 3,062 Million and SEK 7 Million was the total result for the photo department means that Wednesday’s Sale can be counted as a Scandinavian record for photography.
The price for Jockum Nordström’s collage Death Forest, sold for just above SEK 2 Million, has to be considered a record for a Swedish collage ever sold and definitely a record at auction for the artist.
