Olle Baertling’s Mithra sold for SEK 3,44 Million

One of the highest prices ever for Olle Baertling was noted today when a monumental work by the artist was sold for SEK 3,44 Million. The last time a price at this level was reported was in the ”happy 80s”.

– A fully understandable price, says Anna-Karin Pusic, head of the art department. Works of this size (350 x 135 cm) are extremely rare on the art market. The development of the prices of Baertling is really exciting to follow. It is as if not until now that collectors understand his uniqueness and radicality.
