About Bukowskis

13 objects sold for more than SEK 1 Million at the Classic Autumn Sale

The Classic autumn sale finished at 7 pm today and the result is, among many things, a Zorn sold for SEK 10,6 Million and a continued hot demand on the Chinese market for Swede’s collection of orientalist art. The silver department also took a joyful leap.

- It has been a fantastic sale and many masterpieces have been sold on a high price level. It is perfectly clear that our clients become more and more knowledgeable. And we’ve had the privilege to manage most of the master pieces this year. Altogether we’ve sold exactly seventy objects during 2011 for more than SEK 1 Million and we have definitively proved that Bukowskis is the largest auction house in Scandinavia within all segments, art, design, old masters, contemporary art as well as photography and orientalist decorative arts, says CEO Michael Storåkers.
