Mourning envelope marked with Dickens' monogram, addressed to Henry Austin, Board of Health, Whitehall, London. Signed in his own hand Charles Dickens. With a stamped One Penny postage stamp. Stamped Ramsgate SP25 1851. 7 x 12.5 cm. Framed together with an engraving depicting Charles Dickens. Dimensions including frame 57 x 36 cm.

Not examined out of frame. Soft creases. Stains.
