Sehr geehrter Herr Adrian Nilsson,
heute schließt hier meine Aus-
stellung, die ein Interess(ß)e erweckt
hat. Nicht wenig hat zu diesem
Interesse Ihre Schrift beigetra-
gen für die ich mich bei Ihnen
warm bedanke. Es ist eine
große Seltenheit, für einen Künstler,
daß er verstanden wird. Sie
können sich also mein Vergnü-
gen vorstellen, daß ich so ein
lebendiges Verständnis in Ihrer
Schrift gefunden habe. Besonders
wurde dieses meine Gefühl
dadurch gesteigert, daß ich
es in einem mir vorher
ganz fremden Land erlebte.

Mit herzlichstem Gruß
Ihr sehr ergebener
Kandinsky

Written during Kandinsky's stay in Stockholm which lasted from December 23 1915 to March 16 1916. In the letter Kandinsky thanks Adrian-Nilsson for having written a foreword in Swedish which accompanied the catalogue printed by Galleri Gummeson for Kandinsky's exhibition at the Gallery during February 1916.
