Tekniken som Änghede konsekvent använt sig av och utvecklat sedan hon gick ut Högskolan för fotografi och film 2002, bygger på långa slutartider och flera exponeringar, hela tiden förankrat i det analoga fotografiet som utgångspunkt.
Sofia Änghedes pensel är ficklampan, med den lyser hon upp delar av ett rum eller ett föremål under långa exponeringstider. Resultatet blir ”elektrifierade” bilder som utstrålar något magiskt.
