Armchair "Organic Chair" by Charles Eames & Eero Saarinen for Vitra
The puristic chair Organic Chair is designed by Eero Saarinen in 1940 for Vitra. Organic Chair is small and comfortable, and was developed for a competition organized by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. With its sculptural shapes, the design was ahead of the times. But due to the absence of suitable manufacturing techniques, the armchair never went into production until 1950. The chair is not only high in comfort but also a modern and stylish chair to pair with your dining table as well as to the office desk. Organic Chair comes with firm upholster in textile and legs in stained ash. The chair measure 83 cm in height, 45 cm in seat height, 67 cm in width and 73 in depth.
