The Dutch designer Hella Jongerius is the creator behind the eye-catching chair East River. In 2009, Jongerius and her team were commissioned to remodet the North Delegates’ Lounge in the United Nations headquarters in New York. Together with Vitra, they developed a series of furniture pieces.
The colors are playful and carefully coordinated in leather along with fabrics and goes well with the chair’s neat and small shape. The padded armchair comes with legs in dark stained oak and powder coated steel.
