Old full calf, worn, rebacked preserving original gilt spine (compartments incorporating an apparently royal cipher), binding slightly wormed, endleaves with some water damage and worming at foot, waterstain throughout affecting margins and lower quarter of each leaf, a few leaves at the beginning lightly soiled and with small stains of mould, occasional old marginal annotations, two leaves with very small marginal loss, final leaf with a 1 by 3 cm piece of paper torn off, but preserved. Lacking, as often, the final blank. Bookplate: Holland House.
