Bukowskis has had the honour of auctioning one of Sweden’s foremost and well-documented private collections of Stig Lindberg. The online auction containing almost 300 unique and well-documented items divided into 136 lots, brought in a figure 80% more than estimated.

This year Stig Lindberg would have been 100. His centenary has attracted attention around the world with special exhibitions, lectures and new books. The auction was a perfect reflection of the incredible range of the designer’s production, including ceramics, fabrics and lithographs. The auction featured pieces of extremely high quality and the fact that many of the items had been exhibited at Nationalmuseum and depicted in the literature heightened the interest of dealers and collectors.

These include the patterns Svart Rörelse, Fruktlådan, Melody, Pottery, Vågorna and Jardiniere and sold for SEK 16,000.
