Övrig information

With its captivating monochromatic dial, the Patek Philippe 6000G ventures away from the conventional Calatrava aesthetic, taking cues from its predecessor, the 5000G, to usher in a contemporary style that breathes new life into the timeless Calatrava design. In retrospect, this original design is hailed by many as the quintessential blueprint for a sophisticated, time-only dress watch. Over the years, the Calatrava collection has seen various interpretations, including the reference 6000G, introduced in 2005, which artfully blends classic and modern elements.

The Calatrava 6000G traces its lineage to the 5000G, initially crafted between 1992 and 1993 in a limited edition of 1000 pieces. This earlier iteration marked a significant departure from the traditional Calatrava image, embracing a contemporary font and a dark dial. The 6000G upholds this tradition of modern design, incorporating a touch of added complexity. Most notably, it features a date ring encircling the outermost perimeter of the dial, complemented by a pointer date function.

However, what truly sets the 6000G apart is the striking contrast between its black dial and the lustrous white gold case. Additionally, the date ring, with a font akin to the hour markers, encircles the center of the dial. A date hand adorned with a red crescent introduces a dash of color to the otherwise monochromatic palette, simultaneously enhancing legibility for the wearer. This distinctive blend of contemporary aesthetics and functional design elements makes the Patek Philippe 6000G a remarkable and visually arresting timepiece.
