"The light in Margrit Lewczuk's paintings glides, rising as if from an inner source to the surfaces; it is always there, at the periphery of vision, like something true.
When one looks at the paintings a clear sense of one's own flashes. Its something the body recalls, a shape, perhaps, a connection called forth by the insistent presence of the artist in the work.
