Carl Hörvik ritade modellen år 1922 som bidrag till gjutjärnstävlingen anordnad av Svenska Slöjdföreningen i samarbete med Näfveqvarns Bruk år 1921-1922. Modellen visades på Göteborgsutställningen 1923, därefter troligen tagen ur produktion.
