An impressive famille verte charger, Qing dynasty, Kangxi (1662-1722).

Finely decorated in famille verte colours with a figure scene with an elegant couple in a pavillion with a qin, antquies, flowers and precious objects. Diameter 37 cm.

Cracks, chips.

Provenance

From the Collection of the sister of Ivan Traugott. (1871-1952). Thence by descent within the family. Traugott was a Swedish businessman and important art collector. A large part of his collections can be seen today at Nationalmuseum and East Asian Museum in Stockholm.
