Olle Ohlsson, silversmith, artist, born in Stockholm in 1928.
Olle began his career in silver in 1944 at the firm C.G Hallberg, which had recently started a four-year apprenticeship program. The eight students accepted that year were taught the work thoroughly.
In 1949, Olle received his journeyman's certificate and then worked in several well-known workshops in Stockholm, including Atelier Borgila, WA Bolin, CG Råström, Claes Giertta, and Ge-Kås, before starting his own business in 1963.
Olle's first solo exhibition took place at Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) in 1965. Since then, he has participated in numerous exhibitions in Sweden and internationally. Olle's solid craftsmanship has allowed him to constantly develop different techniques and themes throughout his active years. Always working and always curious.
