Heidi Boyce Broström's Collection

Heidi Boyce Broström's Collection

Last year, Bukowskis was honored with the prestigious task of auctioning Heidi Boyce Broström's exceptional jewellery collection and Asian works of art at the Important Winter Sale. In this themed auction, we are delighted to present additional items from the Broström family estate and private home. Among the objects are more jewels from her exceptional collection, modern art from her dear friend Bengt Olson, beautiful silver items, and an extensive collection of handbags from the most prestigious fashion houses.

Heidi Boyce's knowledge and sense of furniture, art, fashion, and all the beautiful things surrounding her were remarkable. Her eclectic yet personal collection speaks to a discerning ability to choose only the very best.

Canadian Heidi Boyce, model and trained geologist, met Dan-Axel Broström, managing director of the now legendary Broströmrederierna, on a trip to Acapulco. The Broström couple lived for many years in a magnificent villa in Lorensberg, central Gothenburg. After Dan-Axel's passing in 1976, Heidi Boyce moved to their shared summer villa at the exclusive Särö but continued to lead an international life with homes in both Europe and the USA.

Heidi assumed the role of Gothenburg's leading lady and was referred to in the media as Sweden's Jackie Onassis. In her home, she hosted meticulously planned dinners, and the table settings always bore Heidi Boyce's mark of elegance and aesthetic sensibility. The floral arrangements were striking, often sourced from Heidi Boyce's own garden.

Welcome to explore Heidi Boyce Broström's fantastic collection.
