Viewing at Bukowskis, Berzelii Park 1 in Stockholm, March 24-30 (not March 28-29), 11 am - 5 pm. Collection takes place at Bukowskis, Västberga Allé 3, from March 31.

Surface dirt. Scattered spots and minor scratch marks. Patina with minor spots and some patina rubbed off to the edges..

Sivert Lindblom debuterade tillsammans med Ulrik Samuelsson och båda kom att bli centralfigurer under kommande decennier i svenskt konstliv. De bronsskulpturer Lindblom utförde runt 1963, med påverkan från det klassiska Grekland och namn som Nike ger ett helt annat intryck än vad namnen associerar till. Här har han likt Germaine Richier och De Kooning vid samma tidounkt utfört vildsinta abstraktioner där man ändå kan fånga den underliggande figur som abstraherats. Verken från denna tidpunkt återfinns bl.a på Moderna Museet och tillhör konstnärens främsta skapelser.
