Basel, ex offcina Henricpetrina, 1567. Folio. (29 x 19,5 cms.) [96] + 854 + [2] pp. + folding woodcut map. With 485 woodcut illustrations in text, woodcut device on final page.

Later full vellum, gilt spine, morocco label, binding somewhat soiled and worn, faint traces of bookplate removed from front pastedown, title a little loose, last page lightly soiled. Recurring dampstain to lower margin and into text, a smaller dampstain to upper inner corner towards end. As a whole a well-preserved copy.

Collijn 2:363. Warmholtz 1414. Second Latin folio edition, a reprint of the 1555 edition with some additions. The map is assumed to have been offered separately for this edition, and is present only in some copies.
