Johannes Olsson F463

The artist and musician Johannes Olsson was born in Härnösand in 1945. From 1964 to 1971, he served as the organist in the music group Ola and the Janglers. During the 1970s and 1980s, Olsson pursued a career as an artist. His paintings and graphics exhibit a distinctive style characterized by enlarged, often floating objects such as game pieces, water droplets, eggs, cones, and pens, rendered realistically against a diffuse background with shadow effects. In the current auction, we also find a seascape and a female torso. The collection in this themed auction comes from a friend of the artist.
