Muut tiedot

Olof Martin (mästare i Stockholm 1736-64). Lärde hos Johan Wulf d.ä. Gift med Elias Haupts (far till Georg Haupt) dotter Ulrica. Olof blev därmed svåger med Georg Haupt. Olof fick tre söner. Elias Martin gick först i lära hos fadern, men blev målare och grafiker. Carl Gustaf Martin lärde också hos fadern och Christian Linning. Han blev med tiden snickarmästare i London. Johan Fredrik Martin blev akvarellist och grafiker. Olof Martins möbler representerar den tidiga rokokon med kvardröjande drag från senbarocken. Han gjorde även tvålådiga byråar som var ovanliga i Sverige, men desto vanligare i Frankrike.
