"The Swedish plate coins are a unique phenomenon in the numismatic world. Due to the lack of silver, they were minted with a corresponding value in copper. It has, for example, generated some of the world's largest coins, of which Bukowskis sold a rare 8 daler silver coin from 1659. for 2 450 000 SEK in 2020. This auction includes examples of different coin producing mints and various denominations of these sought after rarities".
