1327. A wucai square dish, Ming dynasty, Jiajing´s six character mark and period (1522-66).
The center painted and enameled with peony issuing from rockwork surrounded by four striding five clawed dragons within cartouches reserved on a trellis-pattern ground, the reserve with flowers issuing from rockwork and butterflies. Measurements 17,9 x 17,9 cm.
