Polykromt landskap med stora påfåglar, pioner, liljor och blommande träd vid vattendrag. Bred guldfärgad huvudbård med flingor och fjärilar. Innerbård med diagonalmönster, Ytterbård med blomslinga. Jugendinfluerad. Silke, guld- och silvertrådar. Originalbeslag av försilvrad metall. Fodrad.

Original mountings of metal with a silver coat.
Provenance
According to family tradition this Japanese tapestry was a gift from the Japanese Emperor to the Russian Czar. Around the time of the Russian revolution a Swedish businessman got paid with this tapestry insted of rubels. A Swedish politician, John Bergvall, bought it in the Japanese Store in Stockholm and it has been in the family and inherited by the present owner.
