A footed Empire style sugar bowl, maker's mark of Johan Zettersten, Lovisa Finland 1826.

A gadrooned sugar bowl body on three united bird necks, ball feet under the base with a central, engraved medallion. Grape motif lid finial. Height 21.5 cm. Weight 496 g.

The spoon hole with ruptures. A later engraved family crest on the base. Indentations in the inner ring of the lid and in the rim of the bowl. Repairs.
