Woven by Övre Hälsinglands Hemslöjdsförening. The field, in different green colours, has large polychrome flowers, signs, architecture and inscriptions: E 27/10 T (Ernst Trygger). The dark brown outer border has three anchors and A - I - B. The carpet was a gift from A-B Iggesunds Bruk to the University Chancellor at that time, Ernst Trygger, on his seventieth birthday the 27th of October 1927.
Partly hard wear, dirty, stains, minor repairs. The sides and ends have fold wear.

The Swedish artist Einar Forseth (1892-1988) is most famous for his Byzantine inspired gold mosaics in the Golden Hall at the Stockholm City Hall completed in 1923. It is in the Golden Hall where the dancing at the Nobel festivities takes place every year.
Ernst Trygger (1857-1943) was a Professor of Law, a conservative politician, a financier, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the University Chancellor. In 1914 Ernst Trygger and his wife Signe (born Söderström) had the Tryggerska villa built in Diplomatstaden in Stockholm.
