A famille rose yellow ground bowl, Qing dynasty, Guangxu six-character mark and of the period (1875-1908).

Medallion bowl enameled in bright tones with four roundels enclosing the characters Wan Shou Wu Jiang (Longevity without end), the inner decorated with a dragon and a phoenix. Diameter 17 cm.

Wear to gilding.

From the Collection of a Swedish Connoisseur, Stockholm. Acquired in the 1980'ies from the Shop at The museum of Far eastern Antiquities, Stockholm.

The collection is a study collection, accumulated during a lifetime. The collector operated within the field of oriental works of art. Due to his knowledge and sense of quality he was of great help to many of the members on Kinaklubben (The China Club) with members such as the Swedish Crown Prince Gustav Adolf, Emil Hultmark and Carl Kempe. The collection is mainly acquired in Sweden and London.
