PILLAR RUG. Antique Ningxia. 292,5 x 196,5 cm. Late Qing dynasty (1644–1911).

A light camel coloured ground with foo dogs, clouds, vases and flowers in light terracotta, light red as well as a variety of blue, yellow and brown nuances. Both ends have the pattern of waves, clouds and the holy mountain.

Some partly hard wear, slightly dirty, stains, one four cm long tear. Damaged sides and ends.
