A set of five 'European Subject' dishes, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).
Decorated with the 'Judgement of Paris'. Depicting Paris offering the golden apple to Venus flanked by Juno and a lushly draped Minerva with Cupid seated on her robes, within a gilt scroll and leaf border. Diameter 22,5 cm.
