Eileen Gray designed some of the great furniture classics during the 20th century. Gray had her own studio where carpets were produced according to her designs. Many of her carpet designs have later been tufted. A glued on label at the back: Eileen Grey, Ecart International, 111 Rue Saint Antoine, 75004 Paris.
The sides and ends are insignificantly worn.
