CARPET. Semi-antique China. 358 x 275,5 cm.
A light camel hair coloured ground with light brown patterns of peonys, eternal knots and leaf festoons. A vide border with Phoenix birds, bats and flowers in a variety of red and brown nuances as well as ivory and yellow.
Partly worn, dirty, stains, mothdamages. The sides and ends have minor fold wear and damages.

Bought in China before 1930. Depicted on a photograph from Shanghai in the 1930's.
