BED COVER. Double-interlocked tapestry. 171 x 128,5 cm. Scania, Sweden, around 1830. Frosta/Färs district.
Woven in two parts. The ground with five rows of octagons and stylized women, birds, trees of life, flowers and "eight petal stars". Lightning patterned border with flowers above and below as well as embroidered C N D.
Partly some wear, slightly dirty, stains. Slightly damaged sides.
