Height 70, width incl. handles 40 cm. On a Gustavian column with gilded cannelures. Column height 101 cm. A later column used during the second part of the 20th century also included in the lot, white painted base, height 99 cm.

The lot is largely similar to two vases at Stockholm Palace (HGK GV: st 9-10). The vases are well in line with the model no 1in Rung's letter to A. U. Wertmüller in 1799, where the vase is intended to be 28 inches and in this shape and bronze decor. 20 inches is about 70 cm, which corresponds to the height of the lot. The vases could be given lids too according to Rung.
