A blue and white bottle vase, Qing dynasty, Guangxu mark and period (1874-1908).
An ovoid body elegantly sweeping to a tall cylindrical neck, all supported on a splayed foot, painted in underglazed blue and white with bamboo and plants in a fenced garden above a lappet band, the neck encircled with stiff leaves, floral scroll and ruyi bands, the foot with demi-florets. The base inscribed with a six-character Guangxu reign mark. Height 29 cm.
Wear. Scratches. Wear to surface. Small chip to footring.
