A grisaille and gold armorial plate for the Danish Royal Court, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).
Of octagonal shape, decorated in grisaille and gold with the equestrian sculpture of the Danish king Frederick V and with the text Juliane Marie around the rim as well as with their coat of arms. Diameter 25 cm.
Wear. Small chips to reverse of rim.
