MATTO, "Stigen", flat weave, ca 260,5 x 176 cm, signed MMF.
Designed in 1932. Woven before 1942. (Rare, only sixteen carpets with this pattern were woven between 1932-1941).
Some wear, slightly dirty, stains. One side has a small damage, the ends have the "Oriental" edges missing. Later fringes among which many are damaged and several are missing.
