Oil on relined canvas 93 x 63 cm. Executed in the 1890s. The authenticity of the work is confirmed by Dr Sibylle Gross, Berlin and will come with a certificate of authenticity. The work will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné.

The artist's estate, listed in the inventory as a gift to Else Pincus, Schwiebus, 1933.
Else and Willy Pincus, Schwiebus (Świebodzin) Berlin (since 1933).
Simon Heinrich and Helene Cahn, Buenos Aires (most probably purchased in the 1950s in Berlin).
Thence by descent to the present owner.
