A Swedish Rococo mid 18th century writing desk.

Mahogany polished alderwood. Mounts of gilt brass. Three drawers. The serre-papier with nine small drawers and one drawer on the back of the serre-papier. The serre-papier with pencil inscription "Drottningholm January 21, 1758 Pehr Pettersson Widbom". Pehr Pettersson Widbom was accepted as a cabinetmaker at Drottningholm 1737, became a master without masterpiece in 1751. Length 150, width 81, height 78,5, height incl. serre-papier 126 cm.

The serre-papier and desk 18th century but not originally related. Serre-papier and desk originally black painted. Partly later mounts. Key missing for the three larger drawers.
