Auktionens urna kommer från Steninge slott där den torde prytt fasaden. Steninge är ritat av Nicodemus Tessin d.y uppfört under slutet av 1600-talet. Det mest kända gjuteriet i Stockholm vid denna tid som levererade gjutna produkter till tidens stora påkostade byggen var det Meyerska.
