MATTO, an antique Heriz, a so called Serapi, ca 371 x 282,5 cm.
A red melange ground with a large polychrome medallion with stylized dragons, corner ornaments as well as stylized flower and palmette festoons. A wide red melange main border with a large flower, palmette and arabesque vine.
Some partly harder wear, dirty, stains, repairs and reknotted areas, some painted areas. Mothdamages at the back, the sides and ends have traces of glue at the back, the sides have fold wear, later sides and ends as well as fringes.
