A CARRIAGE CUSHION, "Träd och timglas", double interlocked tapestry, ca 101,5 x 50,5 cm, Scania, Sweden,
Skytts or Oxie district around 1800. Mounted. A terracotta red ground with polychrome patterns of stylized trees, sandglass like ornaments, flowers, two horses and a signature KHD. A lightning patterned border.
Slightly faded. Some partly a little harder wear, slightly dirty, stains, minor damages and mothdamages, repairs, rewoven areas. Parts of the border are added.
