Staffan Berglund (1936-2016). Was an architect and designer. He graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in 1961. Only a few years later, Berglund completed his masterpiece, Villa Spies. The villa's advanced construction and aesthetics are today a milestone in Swedish architecture. Berglund was also successful in the United States, where he designed an extension to the Bank of California's headquarters in San Francisco.
