The international Fine Art Live auction Modern Art + Design follows up the autumn's successes with the Olle Emanuelsson Collection, Lars Norén's collection and the Live auction Contemporary Art & Design.

See the extensive catalogue that presents significant works by Otto G Carlsund, Gösta Adrian-Nilsson (GAN), Sigrid Hjérten, Isaac Grünewald, Carl Kylberg, Olle Baertling and international stars such as Maurice Estève, Ram Kumar and Bernard Buffet. Among the highlights, we would like to pay special attention to Otto G Carlsund's early work "Lokomobilen (La machine à vapeur)", a work owned by the same family since the 1920s, which has never been for sale before. The auction's highest estimate is Gösta Adrian-Nilsson (GAN) with the magnificent painting "Sailors" (estimate 6-8 MSEK), followed by "Sailors in Gothenburg" (4–4.5 MSEK), two significant works from a limited but fascinating period in GAN's production around 1918/1919.

Bukowskis´ design department presents several stunning collections of internationally sought-after objects from our leading 20th-century designers. The catalogue includes exclusive and unique objects by Josef Frank, Estrid Ericson, Axel Einar Hjorth, Poul Kjaerholm, Carl Hörvik and masterful ceramics from Picasso and Wilhelm Kåge alongside glass from Bertil Vallien and Fulvio Bianconi. Bukowskis can also present a unique textile by Sigrid Hjertén and several carpets from Märta Måås-Fjetterström to name a few. One of the department's top lots is the Josef Frank cabinet, "Plan de Paris à vol d'oiseau", with its estimate of SEK 800.000 – 1.000.000. Another rarity is the internationally sought-after table "Mora" by Axel Einar Hjorth. See also a historical collection of lighting by Hans Bergström, the master of light.
