A rug, antique, Kashan, so-called Motachem, ca 266 x 248 cm
A terracotta red ground with large polychrome blooming trees and palmettes. A wide dark blue main border with large flower, palmette and arabesque vines.
Partly worn, dirty, stains among a few are stiff (cracks). The sides have fold wear, the ends have a insignificant damages.
