The oval plinth with scrollwork and palmette ornaments in relief, modelled as Amor imploring a young woman, the white enamel dial signed 'Cachard. sucr. de Ch. Le Roi A PARIS' (Gaspard Cachard, active from ca 1780). Length 39, width 17, height 40 cm. Pendulum included.
