A semi-antique Mobarakeh-Esfahan rug, ca 206 x 144 cm

From around 1930. A large polychrome, so-called Ghab, pattern. A wide ivory main border with a flower, palmette and arabesque vine. The outer secondary border with 'the eternal knot'.

Minor wear, insignificant repairs and moth damage.
