A blue and white celadon ground jar, Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
Rounded shoulder and waisted rim, decorated with a band of blue and white continous lotus scroll by the footrim and rim, inbetween a broad section of celadon glaze. Height 20 cm.
Restored with staples. Firing flaws.
