A Swedish Rococo 21 carat gold box, mark of Frantz Bergs (active 1725-1777).
Cartouche shape, richly decorated. Cover with Minerva and Diana amidst rocailles and volutes. Sides with rocailles and foliage, base with rocailles and flowers. Miniature painting under glass to the interior of the lid depiciting a landscape with ruins. Length 6.7 cm, height 2.3 cm. Total weight 82.3 grams.
