The service commissioned by the Lieutenant Colonel and President of the Svea Court of Appeal Hans von Fersen (1684-1748) and his whife Eleonora Margareta Wachtmeister af Mälsåker (1684-1748), who married in 1715. Eleonora Margareta Wachtmeister of af Mälsåker was one of the investors in the Swedish East Inida Company’s first oktroj. From the decoration and the fact that Hans passes away in 1736 it is clear that the service was brought back on one of the Swedish East India Company’s first expeditions.
