A semiantique Dragon Tabriz 'Ghanadi' carpet, c 342 x 263 cm.
Around 1930. An ivory ground with a large polychrome medallion, deers, dragons, cloudbands, arabesque, flower and palmette festoons. A wide light red main border with running deers and lions as well as a large palmette and flower vine. The inner secondary borders have the signature 'Ghanadi' within a star.
