A late Gustavian giltwood, patinated and Bleu Turquin console in the manner of J. Frisk, Stockholm circa 1800.
Gilt, bronzed, and patinated. The rim decorated with kymation, bead and reel, and fields with guilloche, on four straight, fluted, and tapering legs. Top of gray-veined marble (Bleu Turquin) marked "79?" and with indistinct markings in red chalk. Length 111.5, width 58, height 71.5 cm.
